Here I live
Bad Bellingen is located in the area of Lörrach town, in the most southwestern tip of Germany.
The swiss border is just 7.5miles away, to France its just 160ft.
It takes less than half an hour by car to Basel, Mulhouse and Freiburg.
Bad Bellingen is a small village in the so called "Markgräflerland", framed by the river Rhein, acres and wineyards and located at the foot of the last Black-Forest mountain high, the "Hochblauen" (short the "Blue", 3.800ft)
It is the sunniest and warmest area of Germany, a traditional wine area and famous for its good cuisine.
The typical wine of this region is called the "Gutedel" (a mix of ´good´ and ´noble´ ) which is pressed from one of the oldest known grapes.
The ancient Romans already enjoyed the hot thermal sources in the nearby town of Badenweiler. Bad Bellingen has a modern thermal- and wellness bath, many health clinics, hotels and restaurants.
It is a region, which is small and rural on one side and internationally orientated and open on the other side. Its a place to be happy.
